More than 200,000 pilgrims from all five continents travel the Camino de Santiago each year. This millenery route, which has become a global phenomenon, has all the ingredients of a good movie:
Our FOOTPRINTS are imprinted on the trails of Basque Country, Cantabria, Asturias, and Galicia. Other routes travel through Cataluña, Navarra, Aragón, La Rioja. The Way of St. James/El Camino de Santiago begins at various sites throughout Spain, France, Portugal, and the British Isles, and today new routes from as far away as Korea and Japan are being established. The routes rival each other in beauty but share the same end, the tomb of the apostle, St. James.
